Not receiving notifications / stopped receiving / only some apps send alertsUpdated 3 months ago

If notifications are not appearing on your watch, or if alerts arrive only from certain apps, it is usually related to phone permissions, background app activity, or the watch’s connection status. These factors can interrupt or limit the flow of notifications.

 

Complete the checks below to ensure notifications are delivered consistently.

Initial setup and permissions:

1. Open the App > Device tab > Notifications, and enable the apps you want — including “Other Apps” for broad compatibility.

2. On the watch, swipe down from the main screen and ensure Do Not Disturb (moon icon) is turned off.

3. Confirm the Bluetooth icon on the watch is blue/orange, indicating that both notifications and calls are connected.

4. On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > ArgomTech Select > Notifications and ensure Notification access is enabled.

5. In the App, go to Profile > Permission Settings and verify that both permission options are turned on.

 

Customize alert mode:

1. On the watch, go to Settings > Sound & Vibration; or in the app, go to Device > Sound & Vibration.

2. Choose your alert mode: Sound, Vibration, Sound & Vibration, or None.

 

If notifications still do not work — full reset & re-pair the watch:

1. In the App: Device tab > scroll down > Unbind Watch.

2. On your phone: Bluetooth settings > Forget/Remove the watch.

3. On the watch: Settings > Factory Reset (wait for the “DS” logo).

4. Uninstall the App and reinstall it from the app store.

5. Open the app > Device > Add Device and follow the pairing steps; confirm on the watch when prompted.

Important — allow all permissions during pairing (Location, BLUETOOTH, Notification access, Background activity). If any are denied, pairing and notifications may not work correctly.
